getDowntown Program Survey

getDowntown conducts a periodic survey of both employees and their employers in our service area. We use this survey to get a sense of how people are getting to work, what amenities or infrastructure might be needed to support a non-driving commute, and how employers are using the program to support their business needs. City of Ann Arbor Set to Begin Changing Driver Behavior Study

In June, the City of Ann Arbor, under the guidance of Dr. Ron Van Houten and his team from Western Michigan University, will begin a Changing Driver Behavior study. The study will measure the impact of enhanced enforcement at crosswalks and communications feedback on stopping/yielding rates on major commuting routes within Ann Arbor. The study will replicate work Van Houten performed in Gainesville, Florida.

SEMCOGand MAC "Pulse of the Region" survey asks for citizen perspectives on pedestrian and bicycle safety in Southeast Michigan
SEMCOG and its partner organization, the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition (MAC), have launched a survey to gather residents’ perceptions on pedestrian and bicycle safety in Southeast Michigan.
Citizens are asked to take this quick survey. Responses will help us prioritize and focus a public education safety campaign that will kick off in May.
