It's tough to believe we are already in Week 3, but here we are! From January 13th through January 19th, we're looking for your picture with one of the campaign posters placed at several businesses as well as on the inside of TheRide's buses running throughout the area. It can be a selfie, a posed photo related to your commute, a group photo, or even an art photo, as long as it includes the poster in the photo.

It's time again for one of the favorite challenge weeks of the contest, the Winter Haiku week!  Send us a Haiku about your non-drive alone commute, photos encouraged, between January 6th and January 12th. That includes mode eligible in the challenge (although if you do select other, we REALLY want that photo)!  Post your Haiku to social media (Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram) using our hashtags #WinterHaiku & #OWNWINTER, and email it to us at commute@theride.org so we can be sure to give you credit!

Conquer the Cold Challenge Week 1

Published: Fri, 01/03/2020 - 11:54 AM

So we've had a bit of a rocky start with the getDowntown Challenge team, between office closings and being under the weather, but we're going to keep plowing through like all of you do when you show how to #OWNWINTER! So the challenge for this week is simply to log a commute using a mode that burns calories. You know you ate too much over Christmas, and, ahem, celebrated too much at New Year's, so get back at it with your active method of getting to and from work!
