Conquer the Cold Challenge Week 1

So we've had a bit of a rocky start with the getDowntown Challenge team, between office closings and being under the weather, but we're going to keep plowing through like all of you do when you show how to #OWNWINTER! So the challenge for this week is simply to log a commute using a mode that burns calories. You know you ate too much over Christmas, and, ahem, celebrated too much at New Year's, so get back at it with your active method of getting to and from work!

SEMCOGand MAC "Pulse of the Region" survey asks for citizen perspectives on pedestrian and bicycle safety in Southeast Michigan
SEMCOG and its partner organization, the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition (MAC), have launched a survey to gather residents’ perceptions on pedestrian and bicycle safety in Southeast Michigan.
Citizens are asked to take this quick survey. Responses will help us prioritize and focus a public education safety campaign that will kick off in May.

Participation this year blew away last year by a whopping 47%! Yay for more alternative commuters!
