Fifth Avenue from Liberty to William and William from Main Street to Fifth Avenue: Thursday, Aug. 22-Saturday, Aug. 24. As part of the DDA/city's William Street Improvement Project, the intersection of Fifth Avenue/William will be closed to through traffic for water main installation. 

For Fifth Avenue, southbound traffic will be detoured westbound on Liberty Street to southbound on Fourth Avenue to eastbound on Madison Street to Fifth Avenue.

​​​For William Street, eastbound traffic will be detoured southbound on Fourth Avenue to eastbound on Packard Street to northbound on Division Street to William Street.

Local traffic will be maintained. Pedestrian through traffic will be maintained on one side of the street at all times.  ​

Green Road between Plymouth Road and Gettysburg Road/Burbank Drive: Saturday, Aug. 24–Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019. Beginning Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, intermittent single lane closures in the northbound and southbound directions of Green Road​ between Plymouth and Gettysburg Road/Burbank Drive will be in place as required to accommodate pavement work. 

The contractor will maintain two-way traffic when performing this work, and will use flagging operations at times to control traffic access and restrict certain turning movements to and from side streets and driveways. This work will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, and between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, weather permitting.

The contractor will maintain bicycle and pedestrian traffic on adjacent sidewalks and paths during construction.

Fuller Road between the Huron River and the easterly e​nd of Fuller Court: Saturday, Aug. 24–Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019. Beginning Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, intermittent single lane closures in the eastbound and westbound directions of Fuller Road between the Huron River and the easterly end of Fuller Court will be in place as required to accommodate pavement work. The contractor will maintain two-way traffic when performing this work, and will use flagging operations at times to control traffic access and restrict certain turning movements to and from side streets and driveways. This work will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, and between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, weather permitting.​

South State Street from Huron to East Washington: 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019. Over the weekend of Aug. 14, South State Street will be closed to traffic from Huron to West Washington for utility work. 

The southbound traffic will be detoured east onto Huron Street then south on Fletcher Street then west on Washington Street and back to State Street. The northbound traffic will be detoured east on Washington Street, then north on Fletcher Street, then west on Huron Street and​ back to State Street. 

Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on one side of the street at all times.

Washtenaw Avenue and Pittsfield Blvd Pedestrian Crosswalks: 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26​-3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2019. Installation of ADA ramps and foundations for a signal will require equipment in the right lanes nearest the curb in the section of Washtenaw Avenue (which has two lanes in each direction). 

One lane in either direction of Washtenaw Avenue will be maintained: in the first week, one lane will be maintained westbound; and the following week, one eastbound lane will be maintained. Intersections at Pittsfield Boulevard and the exit from Arborland Mall will allow for traffic until pavement markings are installed, at which time traffic will be controlled by flaggers.

Emergency vehicles access will be maintained. ​Both lanes in each direction will be open over Labor Day weekend. ​​

Pontiac Street between Moore and Barton Drive: Monday, Aug. 26-Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. Beginning on Monday, Aug. 26, Pontiac Street between Moore and Barton Drive will be closed to traffic for water utility work, which will take place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The northbound traffic will be detoured north from the intersection of Plymouth/Broadway/Moore/Maiden Lane onto Plymouth Road, then west on Barton Drive​, and back to Pontiac Street. The southbound traffic will occupy the northbound (east) lane. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on both sides of Pontiac Street.
