Temp Closure of S. Division between Hill & Packard

Location and Limits of Affected Area:
South Division Street between Hill and Packard streets.
Description of Work:
The City of Ann Arbor and DTE will be working to remove a large, dead elm tree that has become entangled with numerous high voltage power lines.
For the safety of the traveling public and work crews, the following traffic control plan will be implemented.
Temporary Traffic Control Plan:
Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 2 through Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, South Division Street between Hill and Packard streets will be closed to all through traffic. Northbound traffic on South Division Street will be detoured west on Hill Street to north on Main Street, then north on Main Street to Packard Street, and south on Packard Street back to Division Street.
There will be no street parking between John Street and Packard Street during this timeframe.
During construction, access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
