Carpool
Perhaps you already know several people at work who live near you or on your way to work. Talk to them about sharing a ride even if it's once or twice a week. You might be surprised at how many employees are eager and interested in saving money and not having to hassle with parking everyday. Approach your employer about coordinating a carpool within the business or creating incentives for carpools.Some ideas for inexpensive incentives might include a more convenient parking space or recognition in a company newsletter or event.
If you can't find anyone you work with or already know to carpool with, don't give up hope. Call or log on to register yourself in one of the rideshare databases found below. Hopefully, you'll be matched up with someone to carpool with. You can also post a request in our forum & hopefully connect with someone who shares a similiar commute.
