Zipcar is "wheels when you want them." Self service cars you can use by the hour or day. With Zipcars parked in downtown Ann Arbor (and on the University of Michigan's campus) all you have to decide is where you want to go and when!

How May Zipcars Are Downtown? Where are They Located?

The Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority has provided the getDowntown Program with a grant for 6 Zipcars downtown: two Scion xDs, two Toyota Matrixs, one Ford Escape and one Honda Civic. Zipcar is purchasing these cars from local dealerships. Two Zipcars will be located at the Fourth and Catherine Parking Lot (across from the Farmer's Market), two will be located at the Palio Parking Lot (at Main and William, next to Palio) and two will be at the First and Washington Lot.

In addition to the 6 downtown Zipcars, individuals will be able to use all of the Zipcars on the University of Michigan Campus.

Zipcar for Businesses

Why own a company car when you can use Zipcar! Businesses can join for only $35 and get $35 in free driving. Click on the "City Partners" section of the Zipcar Ann Arbor website to join as a business member. To open a business account, please contact Zipcar.

Zipcar for Individuals

Individuals will pay a one-time $25 application fee and an annual fee of $50. No deposit or monthly commitment!

What Does it Cost?

Depending on the car model, drive from $8/hr and $66/day (any 24-hr period) during the week, and $9/hr and $72/day on weekends. Gas, insurance and 180 free miles are included.
