Kerrytown Historical Walk
May 19, 2007Interested in learning more about the history of downtown Ann Arbor? Join us for a fascinating guided walking tour of historic Kerrytown led by Ray Detter and Louisa Pieper. Some of Ann Arbor’s earliest buildings still stand between downtown and the railroad in what was once the bustling supply side of town. Learn how the area provided lumber, farm implements, carts and carriages, stone work, coal, oil, and gas. Business owners and workers lived nearby amid a changing ethnic, religious, and racial mix. Learn how the area became what it is today.
Come early and a grab a few goodies at the Farmer's Market.
