CYCM 08 - Walker Tracker Contest Begins
May 1, 2008How many steps does your neighbor walk to work? Find out when you join up with Ann Arbor's Walker Tracker. Measure footsteps to footsteps, track your progress, create walking groups and compete. getDowntown will use Walker Tracker to create competitions throughout Curb Your Car Month. However, at the end of May, we will still have an Ann Arbor walking community to keep us motivated all year long.
Ann Arbor's Walker Tracker community is a great way to keep walking to work throughout the year.
All you need is a pedometer and some walking shoes! The Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority is offering 30 free pedometers if you need one. This is on a first come, first served basis so email getdowntown@annarborchamber.org if you would like one.
