Bike or Walk in the Ann Arbor 4th of July Parade
July 4, 2008The annual Ann Arbor 4th of July Parade will be on Tuesday
morning (July 4). If you and/or your family would like to
participate in the parade with the Ann Arbor Bicycling Touring
Society (AABTS) and the Washtenaw Biking and Walking Coalition
(WBWC), please contact Kris Talley of WBWC at info@wbwc.org or just
follow the instructions below:
Cyclists and Walkers can assemble near the corner of State and William around 9 AM on Friday, July 4. You can come earlier if you need to decorate your bike and later if not, but allow a little time to mingle and sign a release form before the 10 AM start.
The AABTS "unit ID" is W02 and any Jaycee volunteer should be able to direct you to where we are. We're supposed to be right behind the mayor and the conference bike. It's
