Sign up for the Commuter Challenge! (March-May 2011)
One person from your organization must register your organization in order for you to participate. Register at getdowntown.org. Once your organization is registered, anyone from that organization can go to the website and sign up to participate.
Green Commute Day (May 2)
Help us kick off the Commuter Challenge by wearing green on May 2rd. Submit photos during Green Commute day and you could win prizes! We'll also be giving out prizes to registered organizations that they can distribute during Green Commute Day.
Daily Prize Drawings (All Month)
Every weekday during the Commuter Challenge you will have a chance to win a prize just for logging a commute that matches the theme week! Click here for more information.
Bus to Work Week (May 1-7)
Urban Fashion Week: Post your photos of transit-riding fashionistas for a special prize!
Walk to Work Week (May 8-14)
Put on your walking shoes during this week!
Capture your commute: Take a picture or video of your bike commute and send it our way. We'll post your visions on our blog and AnnArbor.Com. You might even win a prize!

Bike to Work Day Events (May 20)
Bike Commuting Stations (various locations, 7am-9am)Ride your bike to work and stop by a bike commuting station for free coffee and food. We'll even check your bike for you! More information on Bike Commuting Stations coming soon.
Bike to Work Day Rally (8:15am-9am, Ann Arbor Farmer's Market)
Join us for what has become an Ann Arbor tradition! Bike shops and others will lead rides to downtown Ann Arbor where we’ll enjoy free coffee and treats from Zingerman’s Deli! Local officials from the City of Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor City Council, and Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority will be on hand to offer words of encouragement and hear your thoughts. Don't forget to stick around for the group picture!
Ride Around Town (5:30pm, place TBD)
Meet up with fellow cyclists for a ride through downtown Ann Arbor. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a first-time commuter, this ride will help get you a little more comfortable with biking on our downtown streets.
Community Bike Swap (6:00-7:00pm, Ann Arbor Farmer's Market)
Got a bike part you'd like to swap? Bring it to the community bike swap and trade it for something you could use. More information to come.
Carpool and Vanpool to Work Week (May 23-May 29)
We'll be giving out prizes for Carpool and Vanpoolers with the best stories to share. More details soon!
